What is a chauvinist, exactly?

Technically both are right, but realistically, it's the second answer that best represents the typical usage of this word...and it's more often Male Chauvinist, than female, oddly enough. But it can also mean, simply, bigot or someone with a superior attitude aside from just in a ist tone!
